Based on the Grant Wood painting, American Gothic was a drama series on CBS that aired during the 1999 season. Gary Coleman starred as the stoic Sheriff Buck, Dana Plato as his equally stoic wife, and Haley Joel Osmond as their son Caleb.
A spin-off, The Misadventures of Sheriff Buck, aired the following season.
