Cable television is superior to regular television, because you have to pay actual money for it, and sometimes it has swearing and nudity. It was invented by John Walson in the United States in 1948. Throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, cable was sporadic in the United States. It didn't become full fledged until the 1980s.
