Comedy Central is a television network most known for its humorous television programs, including The Daily Show. It was founded in 1931 by visionary inventor Philo T. Farnsworth, who was seeking a destination for his large collection of nickelodeon comedy clips. For a while, the network would air reruns of Saturday Night Live, before conscience-stricken producers felt guilty advertising a show that wasn't live.

Comedy Central recently set the world's record for the most consecutive airings of the movie Half-Baked, with 0.75. It also figures prominently in a bet that Carlos Mencia must have won, because there's no other reason he should appear.
